Tomorrow I will be 19nweeks. There hasn't been much to update. I'm starting to get a little belly. Food aversion as decreased and I actually like eating again. I have had a few cravings but nothing crazy. I also have been feeling the baby move around a lot more.
I'm so thankful for all the support I've gotten (from most people). My coworkers and family have been amazing. People are always asking questions, asking how I feel, and touching my belly (even though there isn't much there). Next week we will have the anatomy scan in Springs. Q&A are planning on flying in for my appointment with Dr Growney and then following up to Springs for the ultrasound. I can't believe we are almost half way there.

KIDNEY LIKE A CHAMP.
I'm 16 weeks 4 days. Had appointment with Dr Growney. It went well. Babys had heart rate of 150. My vitals were good. My weight hasn't changed. I haven't gained any yet. I did wake up yesterday with a bump.
Last week I went to kidney Dr and learned my loan kidney is at 100%! It has never been close to this since I had it taken out.
We will have an ultrasound in a month with Maternal Fetal Medicine. Q&A are hoping to come for that appointment

Reunited and it feels so...... exhausting
Well after weeks of being off work I finally got to go back. Man oh man I forgot how busy that place is! The past 3 days were so busy, and non stop. But at the same time I am thankful to work with such amazing people in a job that I really do love.
Now that the cat is out of the bag on social media it was awesome how many co-workers, and friends were so supportive.
Today the weather was beautiful this morning. The girls and I decided to take the morning and play since I've been laid up. We went to the park, the library, and to lunch. Then we all came home and took a much needed nap.

NT scan
Today went for a NT scan. Basically to check for down syndrome even though the embryo was tested, Dr Winkler wanted it.
I'm finally done with dr Winkler's office, and only have to deal with Dr. Growney.
We got some awesome pictures of the little one.

HOLY SHOT!
Well after 70 shots in my behind, I'm finally done! My ass is going to be so thankful over the next few weeks! I have huge bruises and knots at injection sites. Last night was the last one. Of the 70 shots my husband gave me all but a few. My sister did a handful and I did one on my own. I have one week of vaginal progesterone and then I'm done with meds.
Pics of the 70th/final shot.

The end in sight
Ultrasound showed the SCH is still there, but since we are almost out of the first trimester I can go to work soon.... If I had an easier less strenuous job I could have gone back right away, but since I'm a nurse in a busy ER, I have to wait another week. So January 8th is the day!!!
Just wanted to share a story, when I was registering for my ultrasound the admission lady and I were talking, and I told her this wasn't going to go through my insurance, and that the financial part was taken care of. She loozed at me confused, and I told her this was not our baby, that I was a surrogate. She started crying, grabbed my hands and thanked me for doing this. She went on to say "you have no idea how much this means to someone who can't have kids". I'm still amazed how positive people have been so far.
I also met with my OB office this week, went over the paperwork, answered all the questions, and got to hear the heartbeat.

About damn time....
Had an ultrasound yesterday morning yet again.... we finally got good news. The one remaining hematoma is now half the size. From 1.4 cm to 0.7cm. This is the first time it has gone down in size. The 2nd one remains gone. Hopefully I will be back to work next week (fingers crossed). Another week of taking it easy and repeat ultrasound on Wednesday. I also meet with my OB office next week as well to establish care.
